Areas of Practice
Neuropsychological & Psychological Assessments
Neuropsychological Assessment answers complex questions about brain processing and performance. Whether concerns relate to attention, activity level, impulsivity, executive functioning, social reciprocity, learning difficulties, intelligence, memory, or cognitive decline, assessment allows for greater understanding of a person’s strengths and weaknesses. Individualized recommendations for next steps are offered during an in-depth feedback session to discuss results. Psychological Assessment offers diagnostic clarity for clients who may present with symptoms that cross multiple diagnostic categories or for those who present with major mental illness, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.

Biofeedback services aim to reduce racing thoughts, bodily tension, and physical symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as to increase mindfulness and relaxation. You will receive in-the-moment feedback regarding your galvanic skin response and heart rate while practicing relaxation exercises. Exercises are tailored to your specific needs to best serve your goals.
Hoarding Treatment
In-home services are offered for those struggling with hoarding. After an initial consult, we develop an individualized plan for intensive treatment. Three major characteristics mark a hoarding disorder: difficulty letting go of possessions; excessive acquisition of new items (for most, but not all); and disorganization/an inability to prevent clutter. Through cognitive-behavioral and exposure therapies, a client is taught how to categorize, plan, and problem-solve. Clients go item by item, deciding what to keep or discard. Over time, clients learn they can tolerate the distress of discarding. Hoarding services are typically not eligible for insurance reimbursement and are provided on a self-pay basis.
